How To Play Field Hockey

11 players make up a hockey team, and each team is allowed up to five substitutes.

There is a 3 card system for penalising players in hockey. First, the coach must recognize the situation. If the opposition is clearly superior, it is not a lost situation, but the coach’s goal is get his team playing to their potential and play the game as competitively as possible.
