National Hockey League must do more to encourage better coverage of hockey games. With many other sports in order to achieve national coverage, the NHL is sometimes forgotten. However, this year there is a race for the Stanley Cup, and set one for the win. But which team will?

Right now, bookmakers are showing that even though the Flyers have been there a few days ago, the odds are swinging back and forth with the Flyers and other potential stakeholders such as the Ottawa Senators, teams to follow in the sprint for the Stanley Cup this year. Of course, all the statistical information of the NHL and changing every day, but most likely is the best current indicator of the team that is certainly a candidate for the Stanley Cup in 2006.

But the race for the 2006 World Cup not just begin at the end of the 2005 season by playing and winning Stanley Cup this year. It started 100 years ago in 1892 at a dinner of the Ottawa Amateur Athletic Association. This game is the Super Bowl of hockey and there is nothing in comparison with many other sports where the national coverage is involved. Stanley Cup will be watched by millions of people, some hockey fans are not traditional, and many who did not know the story behind Lord Stanley excellent purchase. And for a sporting event to be worthy of a trophy that travels over 400,000 miles per note worthy accomplishments of a team, is an event not to be missed, especially those who are behind grills!
